Servicing
We offer service contracts on all our installations following the completion of a project. Regular servicing is essential to ensure a system maintains its optimum level of performance year after year, and avoid possible mechanical breakdowns which can be result in callout charges and expensive replacement parts.

Following a service, we issue a report to the client which explains the work carried out on site by our refrigeration engineers and highlights any problems relating to the operation of the systems and what action needs to be taken.

If the equipment is still covered by the manufacturer's warranty and regular servicing is ignored, then this may jeopardise the parts warranty and could result in additional costs for the end-user. The majority of manufacturers' state in their terms and conditions of warranty, that their equipment must be regularly serviced by a qualified engineer.

Although the systems we install are extremely reliable, they can go wrong from time to time and performance can be significantly reduced if not serviced regularly, just like a car.

For a typical air conditioning installation, we would normally provide one service visit per year. When we install heat pump systems which provide cooling and heating, therefore operating throughout the year round, we would recommend two service visits per year. Systems installed into server rooms would normally be serviced every three to six months due to the importance of the area and the impact on the systems working constantly 24/7.

We occasionally service equipment which has been installed by a third party, but this would normally require a site survey to assess the condition of the systems and the location access.
