Site
survey
We carry
out a free, no obligation site survey on all air conditioning and ventilation
projects. A site survey is necessary for us to ascertain the nature of
the site and any restrictions that could possibly affect the installation.
In some cases, especially for small installations, we can provide a quotation
for supply and installation without carrying out a site survey, but would
require some details relating to the size of the area and the building
structure. A site survey for a typical air conditioning installation would
normally consist of the following criteria:
Dimensions
of area
Plan sketch of area
Building
structure i.e. walls, ceilings etc.
Heat
loads (sensible & latent)
Positioning
of equipment
Availability
of electrical supplies
Pipe runs
& condensate drainage

The information we obtain provides us with a detailed overview of the
type of installation and the area conditions so we can accurately specify
and design the correct systems to be installed. The information is entered
into our systems which precisely calculates the cooling/heating kW loadings
and the required air change rates for each area requiring air conditioning
or ventilation.
If you are
considering air conditioning and/or ventilation, please contact us to
discuss your requirements and we would be more than happy to arrange a
convenient time for us to carry out a site survey. We will then provide
a detailed quotation/specification based on the information we obtain
and your specific requirements.
