We design, supply and install all mechanical and electrical services operating and controlling a cleanroom facility. We are able to provide the following services:

A mechanical services plant controls the temperature, humidity, filtration and differential pressure requirements serving a cleanroom facility.

We design and install air handling systems which provide the cooling and heating by various methods including chilled water, direct expansion refrigeration medium with heating via low pressure hot water (LPHW), steam and electric medium. We design packaged air handling systems and reverse mode heat pump systems which have been incorporated into many of our designs.

Assessing the grade of filtration required, filtration levels and the number of HEPA/ULPA filters needed, essential in achieving the specified number of air changes and cleanlinless levels for a cleanroom facility. Strategic positioning of the filters within the ceiling grid is also important to eliminate air flow dead spots and differential temperatures.

We install various fresh air ventilation and extraction systems incorporating acoustic in-line fan boxes, filters, silencers, electric heater batteries and associated controls where necessary. Supply and return air grilles and air stabilser grilles with individual damper control are strategically positioned within the cleanroom to maintain correct airflow patterns and room pressures. Temperature duct probes and pressure sensors are installed within the ductwork system to monitor incoming supply air and the pressure drop across the filters.

Control systems
The controls systems we install are specifically designed to control and monitor the mechanical systems serving the cleanroom facility to predominantly maintain the internal temperature, humidity, airflows and room pressures.
