testing, validation & certification
We provide testing, validation and certification services for existing and new cleanroom facilities. Our test engineers are experienced and equipped with the latest instrumentation for providing efficient and accurate monitoring results for all classes of cleanroom cleanliness levels.

A cleanroom facility designed and built to meet the requirements of EN ISO14644 requires three stages of approval:

Construction approval - to check that each part of the installation complies with the design requirements.

Functional approval - determining whether all parts of the installation operate together to achieve the conditions in the 'as built' (or 'at rest') states.

Operational approval - determining that the complete installation meets the required operational performance with the specified process/activity functioning and with the specified number of personnel present.

Validation and testing procedures that we are able to provide:

Air flow balancing
DOP Filter integrity leak tests
Airborne particle counts

Room pressure differentials
Temperature monitoring
Lighting & noise levels
Validation report/certification
Instrument calibration certificates

DOP Filter integrity leak tests
Where high efficiency filters are fitted, it is important to ensure that the system of the filter and its housing/sealing device neither generates nor permits the ingress of particulate material in sufficient quantities to compromise the classification of a controlled environment to which they are serving.

Airborne particle counting
In a controlled environment installation, it is necessary to ascertain that the level of airborne particulate contamination complies with the requirements of the specified class of environmental cleanliness. Results are recorded at various sample locations throughout a facility.

Test report
Upon completion of a cleanroom validation, we issue a detailed test report which contains the following:

The standard used ie; EN ISO 14644 or Fed Std 209E
Title of method

Class of environment cleanliness and state
Recorded results of cleanliness levels
Details of equipment used and calibration certificates

It is of importance to continually demonstrate compliance to the current standards for cleanroom cleanliness and maintain the condition of the plant.
